Get a Fresh New Style with a New Fall Hair Color

It’s been quite a year for all of us, and with autumn colors all around us signaling a change out in nature, it’s time to think about making a change for ourselves that represents a whole new positive outlook going forward. A great way to mark that shift in mindset is with a change in your style, and a new fall hair color is the perfect way to make that happen. To help inspire you, we took a look at some of our favorite fall hair color options for a whole new style.

Warm highlights. If you don’t want to make a drastic color change but want to symbolize a little warmth and cheerfulness in your style, ask your William Robert colorist for some warm highlights. This fall, we’re seeing lots of caramel or warm spicy ginger highlights, which brighten up your hair and add interesting color dimension. Warm highlights work with just about any shade – but they make the most impact for dark- to medium-brown brunettes.

Cinnamon ombre. We love this look because it’s classic and beautiful, with a perfect warm shade for the fall season. It works best for a medium brunette with an ombre blend of dark chocolate at the roots and bright cinnamon on the ends. You can do a full classic ombre with this color mix, but we love a more subtle look where just a few ombre strands are blended in, especially around the front to frame the face.

Blood-orange red. Red becomes a popular color choice this time of year, and this version is sure to get you noticed. It’s a blend of copper with a mix of bright and deep orange shades that add dimension and bold, rich color that’s perfect for the fall.

Rooted gold. As warm summer days become a distant memory, many blondes opt for a darker hue to bring in the cooler months ahead. Rooted gold is a great option, especially if your bright summer blonde has grown out a bit. The roots are dark with a natural blend to a golden blonde, with bright, butter blond tips that shimmer in any lighting, creating a perfect look for the season.

Honey blonde. If you prefer a more classic blonde look this fall, go with a warm honey shade. It’s bright and natural-looking but just a hint darker than the light summer blondes, ushering in the new cooler season ahead with stunning color.
