Create Magical Hairstyles in Your Sleep!

Create Magical Hairstyles in Your Sleep!

If your mornings are crazy pressed for time, making it difficult to give your hairstyle the attention it deserves, we’re here today with some good news! We know how rushed and busy your mornings can be, especially if you are responsible for getting other people out the door on time as well.

With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of magical hairstyles you can achieve in your sleep - no fairy godmother required. Read on and learn how to style your hair while you dream, so your morning routine can be simplified and your day can get off to a great start.

Blow out maintenance. When you’ve spent the time- and money- for a professional blow out, you want to keep it looking good for as long as possible! One of the things you can do to achieve this is to keep it out of your face while you sleep. Simply gather your hair and pin it up into a loose top knot at the top of your head. We also recommend switching your pillowcase to silk, as this will lessen the friction on your hair while you sleep and will be helpful for those of us with short hair that can’t be tied up as well.

Beach waves. We know it’s officially fall now, but beach waves will forever be in style! If you’ve got long hair, this style couldn’t be any easier. Simply part your hair in the middle and twist both sides into pigtails. Then, pin the ends of the pigtails to the top of your head. The next morning, shake out your hair, spray in some hairspray, and you’re good to go!

If you have short hair, you can still achieve this look! Instead of two sections of hair, you’ll have to create more twists and pin them up all over your head. The end result will still be gorgeous, carefree waves!

Two-day style. If you’re looking for a two-fer hairstyle, why not rock a braid? Braids are super in right now, from french braids and dutch braids to fishtails and messy braids, you really cannot go wrong. Then, at the end of day one, simply sleep in the braid to help create a full head of gorgeous waves to take you into day two. What could be easier?

Bed Head. Sometimes you kinda want to look a bit messy. If this is your mood, here’s a simple way to achieve it: smooth your hair into a soft, low bun at the nape of your neck before bed. This will allow your hair to take a more relaxed shape with soft waves the next day.

By taking just a few extra steps before bed, you can maximize your morning routine without sacrificing your style. Need more tips?
